PHHS Black Male Achievement Team Presents: 100 Strong Nov. 6th

It is that time of year again. The Black Male Achievement Team will be hosting “100 Black Men Strong” here at Patrick Henry. This event invites Black men (100) from the community to Henry to fellowship with our Black male scholars in a structure setting. This year our focus will be on engaging, empowering, encouraging and equipping our scholars with the skills to be career, life and college ready. Our scholars will be intentionally matched (to the best of our availability) with professionals and college undergraduates and graduates who are currently in or pursing their career of choice. Every Black male scholars in the school will receive an invitation to the event. This event will take place on November 6th, 2015 from 9:00am – 11:00am in the main gym.

We are looking for volunteers. If you are a black male interested in volunteering:

What do we need from you?

  1. Register to be 1 of the 100 Black Men Strong. Your expertise and time will greatly benefit our scholars individually and the mission overall. A small impact creates a big change in our community. Click here to register. All participates must register!

  1. Share this opportunity with your colleagues. The more men, the greater impact! We believe that our scholars need to see more men in the community who are doing  extraordinary things.

  1. Support our efforts! Anything you can give or offer (i.e. set up/clean up, monetary donations, in-kind donations, etc.) would be appreciated.

We are hoping that you are able to join us for this incredible event at Henry. We want our men to show up for our scholars. If you have any questions, comments or concerns please feel free to contact Chris Fleming, The Black Male Achievement Coordinator at, 612 – 668 – 2012
