A Message to Our PHamily

The mission of Patrick Henry High School is to create a diverse community that values and supports the experiences of inquiry and learning through meaningful opportunities that bring intercultural understanding to our educators, our neighbors and our world.   At Patrick Henry, we meet scholars and families where they are and strategically allocate our limited resources to meet their academic and social/emotional needs to ensure that all students are college, career and life ready.  We create this culture by focusing on maintaining a caring and supportive environment, connecting to families and communities, being culturally responsive and preparing our students for college and careers.   Restorative practices and restorative circles are strategies that our Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports team has implemented with students and staff.   We value the fostering of high-quality relationships among our staff, students and families to ensure understanding, acceptance and resolution through stressful circumstances.  The safety of our students and staff is always our top priority, and fighting is not tolerated at school or on school property. We work hard to foster a culture of inclusion and respect at our school, and we are committed to following the MPS discipline policies.
