Txoj Hmoo
Fate/Luck

cov lus kuv hais rau koj
khaws cia hauv koj lub siab
ua siab ntev, txhob quaj thiab mog
es kuv mam li so koj kua muag

koj yog thawj tug es kuv hlub tshaj
ua kuv lub neej kaj li no
tabsi kuv ntshai wb txoj hmoo
tab li no, kuv mam ua siab ntev tos

cia kuv pw ntawm koj ib sab
cia kuv puag koj hauv xub ntiag
es qhia txog koj tsis muaj hnub tso
txoj kev hlub zoo tshaj txhob tu
tabsi kuv ntshai wb txoj hmoo
tab li no, kuv mam ua siab ntev tos

The words I've said to you
keep it in your heart
Be patient, and don't cry;
I will wipe away your tears

You are the first person that I loved the most
That makes my life soothing
But I'm afraid our fate might end
I'll wait patiently

Let me lay next to you
Let me hold you in my arms
and tell you
there will never be a day
of letting go our love
But I'm afraid our fate might end
I'll wait patiently

Moral of the song: (the way I interpreted it) A couple that have been in love for a while are slowly breaking apart. For the male version, he is telling his girlfriend that even though he loves her a lot and she feels the same for him, he feels like their relationship will end. So for the time being, he’ll treasure every moment he has with her and wait for that day.

NOTE: “…our fate might end…” is referring to the fate of their love.
