PHHS Belief Statement

EQUITY; we meet scholars and families where they are and strategically allocate our limited resources to meet their academic and social/emotional needs to ensure that all students are college, career, and life ready.

Message from Principal Abdullah

Patriot Phamily,

I want to take this time to acknowledge we had a rough day yesterday after school that led through the evening. We were forced to call a code red after hearing we may have an intruder in the building.

Many staff and students responded quickly by locking their doors and following the code red procedure. The Minneapolis Police Department proceeded through our building ensuring the safety of everyone and evacuated students and staff as they were located.

Through the process, we learned that the intruder entered the building but exited shortly after entering. Without knowing this information prior, it was our responsibility to enforce the code red and go through the code red procedure.

I want to acknowledge, this was a traumatizing experience and one that will stick with many of us for quite some time. Although we are a strong and resilient PHamily, we do not want to overlook this one and sweep it under the rug. We must do what is necessary to take care of ourselves and our Patriot PHamily.

I want to thank the families, students and staff for your patience and leadership in the moment. As well as the Minneapolis Police Department for treating our Patriot PHamily with respect and care.

These are the times that build our character and make us who we are. The best PHamily a school can have!

With much love,

Mr. Abdullah

Parent Budget Survey: We Need Your Input

Here at Patrick Henry, we welcome family feedback on the services and programs we provide to meet the needs of all our students. As we begin to revisit our budget for the coming year, we are reaching out to families to find out what you believe are the top three (3) areas for us to allocate our funds. Please take the Parent/Guardian Budget Survey to help us learn some of the things you value.

UPDATE:Course Registration Night for 2018 - 2019
Patrick Henry Registration Night was cancelled last week due to the snow day.  Unfortunately, we are unable to reschedule Registration Night due to the student registration timeline.  However, any families that were planning on attending and who would like to talk with their student’s counselor or coordinator are encouraged to let us know.  Families can also talk with their student’s counselor or coordinator at Conferences on February 15th and 16th.
Adjusted Schedule for Wednesday, Jan. 24th

The snow day on Tuesday, January 23rd has caused us to change our Finals Bell Schedule. We would like all students to report to their ADVISORY period instead of going to their 1st period class. Get familiar with the schedule here
