At Henry on: Thursday for Group 

As a high school counselor I provide college/career planning groups taught with an indigenous perspective. I work individually with students to complete the college application process including applying for scholarships and tribal enrollment. My job is to help Native students and families to be successful in school.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
Undergraduate college: University of Minnesota
Major/minor: Sociology/Spanish

Graduate college: University of Wisconsin – River Falls
Program of study: Master’s Degree in Education - School Counseling

1) List five goals on your life's to-do list:
1. Raise a happy/healthy family
2. Be proud of my work
3. Visit all the National Parks
4. Live aboard for a year
5. Learn to swim :)

2) What are your hobbies?
I like to jog with my 2 dogs, bake, garden, and enjoy time with my family
 
3) Which super power do you like to have and why?
To be able to speak any language! It would be so fun and interesting to connect with people and cultures in a more authentic way.

Lizzo, Kurt Vile, and Courtney Barnett

Mostly organized

6) What is one suggestion you can give students to be successful here at Henry?
Get involved in activities – this will make school more fun!

7) What is one suggestion you can give parents at Henry?
Ask questions, big and small :)
