The Medal of Honor is the highest award for valor in action against an enemy force which can be bestowed upon an individual serving in the Armed Services of the United States. Generally presented to its recipient by the President of the United States of America in the name of Congress.

Our Engineering and HAP classes had the opportunity to hear the stories of bravery and valor from these two gentlemen today and it was an "amazing experience" says one of our very own students. One important message from Recipient Ronald Rosser was "Responsibility and honor are two very important things to always remember. It is always important to be a man or woman of your word." He tells his story of being in the army and combating multiple soldiers from the "opposing" team alone after his unit had been hit. Learn more about his story here.

Another individual we were very lucky to have with us was Recipient Wesley Fox. He wanted our scholars to think about perception as he stated "Think about how you want to be seen to those who actually mean something to you". Recipient Fox also received the Purple Heart during his time in the Korean War. Learn more about Wesley Fox here.
