Hello and welcome students, family, and other curious visistors.
My name is Zachary Flessert, and I am a science instructor at Patrick Henry. During the 2015-2016 school year I will be teaching Physics 2.
A little background: I was raised in a small town in Northern WI with a big family and in the middle of nowhere! I went to the University of Minnesota in the Twin Cities. I majored in Biology and stayed quick busy between helping coordinate a swim lesson program and being a part of a research team that worked on Herpes Simplex Virus Type-1. I began work on my Masters at the University of Minnesota as well, completing a 3-month teaching practicum at Patrick Henry while I earned my teaching license. I then went on to teach biology and physics at the Saint Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists. I am very excited to join the Patrick Henry High School team!
In my free time I enjoy reading literature, running, cooking, and listening to new music (suggestions welcome). I love traveling, but after all my travels I am still convinced that Minneapolis and Saint Paul are two of the best cities in the world.
Feel free to contact me at anytime at firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can find the Physics 2 course website here (link to be added soon!).
