Ring the Bell

By Ja’Kisha

Until the referee rings the bell

The world is at a stand still

Watching, waiting, judging

Giving everything a stereotype

Making sure there isn’t a person left unnamed

Until the referee rings the bell

Nobody safe from a darkness

Troubled children and depressed kids

Bullying, fighting

Bystanders watching all the time

Until the referee rings the bell

Families will forever be torn

Detonated across from the water

Untold violence and shed

Flowing waters from everybody

Until the referee rings the bell

Illiberal battles against your peers

Joined forces against another

Violence shed, grief and sadness

Death among all generations

Until the referee rings the bell

The world will be at a standstill

It will never change in time

Separation and division rose

Without progress, without discipline

Until the referee rings the bell

The world would never know life

Will never rise to power as they should

Until the bell rings

There will be nothing

To seek, accomplish, or thrive for

The hardship of the world

The narrow mindedness

Until the referee rings the bell

The world would never see

Never see the wrongfulness

The broken sad heart

As watcher only

Stand up as a whole

Voice the right world
