School clubs and activities are a vehicle to challenge and teach students to act responsibly, reason effectively, and contribute to a changing society. Clubs and activities offer students an opportunity to enrich their high school experience and often apply many of their academic skills. Many of Patrick Henry clubs and activities are “student-run” – empowering students to make a difference in their immediate school community as well as develop the leadership skills necessary for productive citizenship. Students are required to maintain a 2.0 GPA to letter in student activities. Each student is expected to act as an “ambassador” of Patriot Pride by volunteering 10 hours in the larger community.
