At last night’s MPS Board of Education meeting, our school was directed to begin the school name change process. A copy of the resolution can be found here.

Now that the resolution has passed, we are excited to start the process of selecting a new name that better reflects our school’s values. This inclusive process will include researching new names, establishing educational lessons about the history of school names and surveying and, importantly, engaging our students, staff and community about name awareness.
