Stephen '16 Shares Martial Arts Background for April 24th

Fist of the Dragons by Stephen, Young Master AKA Dragon of the North.

The dragon represents a fighter's spirit--the will to keep on fighting.  For me I come from a generation of fighters that can also be called dragons.

The art of kyokugen, which is a mix of martial arts that I have developed since I began in martial arts at the age of five.  Kyokugen is a blend of karate, boxing, tae kwon do, and kick boxing.  Everyone should take a martial arts class to defend themself and have fun.

Kyokugen is not just a martial art; it's a way of life, a philosophy of the dragon.  Someday kyokugen will spread all over the world.  The art of kyokugen teaches hand-to-hand combat and weaponry.  People can say I won't make it with kyokugen, but with the will to fight and keep going the art will make it because a dragon will never give up.

The symbol will always be the dragon.  With my fist and feet the art is deadly.  I can break boards and stone.  The art itself is the battlefield of the mind.  The slogan is, No matter how many times you make fun of me I'll always get better even if it's martial arts.  Kyokugen isn't just a martial art.  It's a way of life.
